These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the inneedai website, desktop application, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by inneedai (“inneedai”, “we”, “us”). You can contact us at support@updates.inneedai.com.
2. The Service
inneedai transcribes live conversations and surfaces AI-generated answers grounded in documents you provide. The Service is an assistive tool: outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete, and you are responsible for reviewing and deciding how to use them. We do not guarantee any particular outcome.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.
4. Acceptable use and your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for how you use the Service, including ensuring your use is lawful and permitted in your context. In particular:
- Recording consent. Laws on recording conversations vary by jurisdiction and may require the consent of some or all participants. You are responsible for obtaining any consent required before capturing audio of any conversation.
- Rules of your context. You are responsible for complying with the rules, policies, and codes of conduct that apply to any interview, examination, viva, assessment, meeting, or other setting in which you use the Service. Some settings prohibit external assistance; do not use the Service where doing so would breach those rules or constitute academic or professional dishonesty.
- You may not use the Service for unlawful purposes, to infringe others’ rights, or to upload content you do not have the right to use.
5. Credits, pricing, and billing
inneedai is paid for using prepaid credits — there is no subscription and no recurring charge. Live-session usage is metered at USD $15 per hour, billed by the second against your credit balance. You may top up any amount from a USD $10 minimum, and credit is granted equal to the amount paid (for example, $30 buys 2 hours). Credits do not expire. A live session ends automatically when your balance is exhausted. The price, and any applicable taxes and fees, are always displayed at checkout before you confirm a purchase.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. When you make a purchase, you also agree to Paddle’s Checkout Buyer Terms. Credit purchases and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
6. Delivery
Credits are digital goods. They are added to your account immediately after your payment is confirmed and are available for use in live sessions right away. Nothing is shipped physically.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of the documents, audio, and other content you provide (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the rights necessary to provide Your Content.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding Your Content), is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will be accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, inneedaiwill not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time; any unused credits are handled under our Refund Policy. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or where required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law rules. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except where mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you of material changes. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
