Windows 10 and 11

Real-time AI copilot app for Windows

inneedai is a desktop AI copilot for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). It captures your computer's audio output during a call, detects the questions being asked, and shows an answer from your own documents in under a second. It works with Zoom, Teams, Google Meet and any app that plays audio on your PC.

How it works

Set up once, then take the call.

  1. 01

    Download and install

Download the installer for Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, and sign in with the same account you use on the website.

  2. 02

    Let it hear your computer

The app captures system audio output — your speakers or headset — not your microphone.

  3. 03

    Go live on a session

Pick the session on your dashboard. The app loads its documents, brief and tone automatically.

  4. 04

    Use two hotkeys

F9 answers what was just said. F10 answers a question shown on screen. Both keys can be rebound.

What it reads from

What runs on your PC

The app is a small window you can float above your call and make semi-transparent. It installs once, updates itself, and has no audio output.

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit
  • System audio capture — no virtual cable, no meeting plugin
  • F9, F10 and Ctrl+K hotkeys, rebindable
  • Optional stealth mode, off by default
Privacy

What the other side can see and hear.

No bot joins the call

inneedai captures your computer's audio output. Nothing is added to the attendee list and nothing is installed into Zoom, Teams or Meet.

Your microphone is never opened

Only the other side of the call is transcribed. What you say is not captured and not sent anywhere.

You decide what a screen share shows

Stealth mode, off by default, marks the overlay as protected content so a screen share does not include it. Without it, the overlay is visible like any other window.

Questions

Windows app: common questions

Which versions of Windows does inneedai support?

Windows 10 and Windows 11, 64-bit. A macOS version is in development and is not available yet.

Do I need a virtual audio cable?

No. The app captures your system audio output directly, so the other side of the call is heard through whatever speakers or headset you already use.

Is it a browser extension?

No. It is a native Windows desktop app, so it works with desktop meeting apps as well as calls in the browser.

Can I change the hotkeys?

Yes. F9 and F10 are the defaults because they clash with no common meeting app, and both can be rebound in the app's settings.
