AI interview copilot
inneedai is a real-time AI interview copilot for Windows. It listens to the interviewer through your computer's audio, with no bot joining the call, and suggests an answer in under a second. Answers are written from your own résumé and the job description you paste in, so they describe your real experience, not a generic script.
Can you walk me through a difficult technical trade-off you owned and how you explained it to leadership?
When decoupling our monolith's billing engine, I chose an event-driven ledger over dual-write locks. I presented a trade-off matrix to leadership showing that eventual consistency avoided distributed deadlocks, achieving 99.995% transaction reliability.

Upload your résumé
Add your résumé or CV as a PDF. It is parsed once, and you can check what it pulled out — roles, skills and achievements — before you rely on it.
- 02
Create an interview session
Add the company, the role and the date, and paste the job description. Pick whether answers are written as you would say them or as bare facts.
- 03
Start listening before the call
The desktop app captures the interviewer from your computer's audio on Zoom, Teams, Meet or any other call app.
- 04
Get prompted when the question lands
Questions are detected and answered automatically, or press F9. Ctrl+K lets you type a question of your own.
Your history, not a template
Generic interview answers are easy to spot. inneedai answers from the résumé you uploaded and the role you described, so the example it suggests is one you actually lived.
- Your résumé or CV (PDF)
- The job description you paste in
- Your own notes on the company and role
- Key terms you add so names are transcribed correctly
What the other side can see and hear.
No bot joins the call
inneedai captures your computer's audio output. Nothing is added to the attendee list and nothing is installed into Zoom, Teams or Meet.
Your microphone is never opened
Only the other side of the call is transcribed. What you say is not captured and not sent anywhere.
You decide what a screen share shows
Stealth mode, off by default, marks the overlay as protected content so a screen share does not include it. Without it, the overlay is visible like any other window.
Know the rules of the room
Some employers allow notes and tools in an interview and some do not. Where an employer has set rules, those are the ones that count. Many people use inneedai to rehearse: run a practice call with a friend asking the questions, and compare your answer with the one your résumé supports.
Job interviews: common questions
How is this different from a mock interview app?
inneedai does not run mock interviews or score you. It answers live questions from a real call. Many people use it to rehearse by having a friend ask the questions on a call.
Does it help with behavioural (STAR) questions?
Yes. It picks the most relevant experience from your résumé and can structure the answer as situation, task, action and result if you ask for that in the session guidance.
Does it work for coding interviews?
It is built for spoken questions about your experience, not for solving coding problems. F10 can answer a question shown on screen, on plans that include screen capture.
Can I use it for an interview in my second language?
Yes. It transcribes 18 languages and detects which one is being spoken, including mid-sentence switches.
What if my résumé is out of date?
Upload a new one in your library. You can keep two résumés and point each session at the right one.
Try it on your next call.
Start on the free plan, then move up when you need more live hours. The app runs on Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit.
