Live AI assistant for client meetings
inneedai is a live AI assistant for client meetings that never joins the call. It is a Windows app that hears the client through your computer's audio and, in under a second, puts an answer on screen drawn from the brief, statement of work or notes you uploaded. Nothing is added to the attendee list.
What was the agreed fallback plan if the third-party webhook fails to sync customer records during cutover?
Per Section 4.2 of the signed project brief, webhook failures trigger an exponential backoff dead-letter queue with daily automated reconciliation reports delivered directly to your ops team.
The desktop overlay during a client meeting, rebuilt from the app. Example question and answer.
Set up once, then take the call.
- 01
Upload the brief
Add the project brief, SOW, status report or meeting notes as PDF, Word or Excel. Upload once and reuse it for every call on that account.
- 02
Create a meeting session
Add the client, the agenda and the names and terms that will come up, so live transcription spells them correctly.
- 03
Start listening when the call starts
The desktop app captures the call audio from your machine. Your microphone stays closed.
- 04
Answer the detail three documents deep
When the client asks something specific, the answer and its source appear on screen. Press Ctrl+K to type your own question against the same material.
Talking points from what was actually agreed
Client calls go wrong when someone answers from memory. inneedai answers from the documents attached to the session and shows which one it used, so you can check before you commit to anything.
- Project briefs and statements of work
- Status reports and timelines
- Previous meeting notes and agendas
- Technical specs and contract sections
What the other side can see and hear.
No bot joins the call
inneedai captures your computer's audio output. Nothing is added to the attendee list and nothing is installed into Zoom, Teams or Meet.
Your microphone is never opened
Only the other side of the call is transcribed. What you say is not captured and not sent anywhere.
You decide what a screen share shows
Stealth mode, off by default, marks the overlay as protected content so a screen share does not include it. Without it, the overlay is visible like any other window.
Client meetings: common questions
Is there a meeting assistant that doesn't join the call as a bot?
Yes, that is how inneedai works. It runs on your Windows PC and listens to the call audio your computer plays, so there is no participant for the client to see and nothing to admit to the meeting.
Does it take meeting notes?
It keeps the transcript and the answers against the session so you can read them back after the call. It is built to answer in the moment, not to send summaries to attendees.
Can it answer from more than one document?
Yes. Attach several documents to a session and each answer is drawn from the most relevant passages across all of them, with a source chip for each document used.
Will the client hear anything?
No. The app has no audio output and never opens your microphone, so nothing it does can be heard on the call.
What if the client speaks another language?
Transcription covers 18 languages and detects them automatically, including a switch between two languages mid-sentence.
Try it on your next call.
Start on the free plan, then move up when you need more live hours. The app runs on Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit.
